Noor Riyadh is the world’s largest light art festival, transforming the city into an open-air gallery as part of the Riyadh Art initiative. The 2022 edition, themed “We Dream of New Horizons”, featured 190 works by 130 artists across 40 sites, exploring light as a medium of transformation and connection.
Working alongside Kamel Mennour, I curated and produced the participation of 11 internationally acclaimed artists, including Jennifer Steinkamp, Arne Quinze, Jean-Michel Othoniel, SPY, Grimanesa Amoros, and teamLab.
– Co-curation and concept development
– Artist selection, contract negotiation, and production oversight
– Site scouting and budgeting for large-scale installations
– Coordination of artwork fabrication, transport, and on-site installation
– Management of communication, media relations, and artist travel
– Organization of private tours and VIP experiences
